Editorial policy
Daily Web Digest publishes two kinds of pages. This is how each one is made.
Guides
Guides are original articles written for this site and published under the name of their author or our editorial team. We check facts, prices and technical details against official documentation and primary sources, and link to those sources in the guide. When something changes, we update the guide and show the date of the last update.
Guides contain no paid placements or affiliate links, and nobody pays to be mentioned in them.
Digests
Digests list new pages from around the web. Pages are submitted to us, mostly by the people who publish or promote them, and they pay for the listing. Before a page is listed, it is checked automatically: it has to load, be open to search engines, and not fall into content we don't list, such as adult content, gambling or malware.
Each entry shows the page's own title and a short description taken from the page. A listing isn't an
endorsement or a review. Because listings are paid, links in digests are marked as sponsored
(rel="sponsored") for search engines.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake in a guide, or want a page removed from a digest, email [email protected]. We fix confirmed errors and show the date of the update on the guide.
